They just randomly mate, mostly I use fruit. ^_^

Yeah me too. One time i gave my chao Shadow (he's not a shadow chao) 5 or 6 fruits and it didn't bloom flowers around it . O.O WEIRD.

It depends on what kind of chao it is. Chaos chao, and character chao can't mate. (Sonic, Shadow, Hp. Shadow, Sp. Sonic and Nights chao excluded)

Rosemary, maybe your chao garden was full when you tried to mate the chao? They don't mate when it's full.

They can mate if you have 8 chao in two of your and 7 in the other. Just go to the garden with 7 chao have give 4 chao heart fruit and then as fast as you canput one chao close to the other and get another chao and and put it next to the remaining chao. They should make two more eggs resulting in there being 9 chao in a garden.  Um being serios I have no idea what this board is about *heh* *heh* |

Really? Because I have the Hero and Neutral Garden, Neutral Garden full and Hero Garden with one chao in it, and Silky and Phoenix (my chao) didn't mate in the Neutral Garden.

No.I was feeding my chao,Shadow(he's not a shadow chao) untill i saw my chao named chappy just automaticly bloom flowers. I kept my eyes on her and she did not eat any fruit.O.O still a bit weird. |
