I guess this board belongs to me now?

Here's some story:

I remember wanting to join this forum when I was around 9 or 10, so about 7 years ago. I got my mom to help me sign up, but I found I was too young, I had to be 13 to actually post so that was disappointing.
I remember waiting till I got to be around that age, but I didn't remember this forum until about recently, and I found it was completely dead and covered with spambots.

I have played chao garden a little recently, but kinda ignored it as soon as Splatoon came out so I've been playing that instead.

Kinda weird, being on a completely abandoned forum. Chao Island is still around a little but clearly isn't as active as it once was.

It's funny how a community for a game from 1999 still was active until 2013, and it was just for a little side minigame too. How did it live for so long? Who knows? I don't know.

So I think I may post whatever I like here until I maybe get banned, heh. Not anything inappropriate, just something abstract. Don't want to ruin the minds of the kiddies who may stumble upon here.

Also, the formatting for this site is awful, it took me 3 minutes to find the sign up button and 3 more minutes for the create thread button. Yeesh!

Well to you, I extend a heart-felt welcome. I remember this place almost as if it were yesterday. Roughly 13 years ago a lot of Chao communities stood tall and competitive. Chao Camp to me was just that, a home away from home. And like any fond home you sometimes wander back to it half-consciously. Like I just did a couple minutes ago.

I couldn't find my "home" per se, but it's a miracle this place managed to sit and age the way it did. If I'm not wrong I believe the founder of this place was BlueStreaks? You can probably find him in west Philadelphia, born and raised
,
on the playground was where he spent most of his days.

Lol the login/register buttons are the same colour as the background they're on top of.
